From Jun 20 to 24, 2011, CNBM Group Delegation, led by Chairman Song Zhiping, paid a visit to Russia.

The delegation firstly visited Mr. Xie Xiaoyong, Chinese consul general in St. Petersburg, and heard Mr. Xie’s opinions and suggestions on Russia’s politics, economy, culture, and investment environment.

During June 20 to 22, Chairman Song Zhiping attended the International Cement Conference in St. Petersburg. As one of the largest summit forums in Russia cement industry, the conference brought together Russia’s relevant government officials, representatives of industry associations, and nearly 100 cement, concrete and dry-mix concrete producers & suppliers from China, Russia, Germany, France, Mexico, and Pakistan etc.

At the invitation of the conference, Chairman Song Zhiping made a themed speech. In his speech, Chairman Song gave an introduction to China building materials industry’s current condition, China cement industry’s development, CNBM Group’s achievements in cement, glass, plaster board, glass fiber, new-type housing, and new materials, and he elaborated on CNBM Group’s cement development model, cement equipment production, and cement technology R & D and design platform etc.
