We’ll have a fresh start for the year ahead. On this special occasion, on behalf of China National Building Material Group and all staff of the Group, I would like to extend my best wishes for the New Year to the fraternal enterprises and colleagues in the building material industry, and to the friends from all walks of life who have been concerned about and supported the development of the Group!

   The year 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. It is a crucial year for the reform, innovation, integration and optimization of China National Building Material Group, as well as a fruitful year for the unity and hard work of the Group. Guided by Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, the Group has made solid progress in achieving high-quality development and delivered outstanding results.

Over the past year, our business performance has climbed to a new high. We have firmly adhered to the keynote of making progress while maintaining stability. Faced with increasing risks and challenges at home and abroad, we made progress despite difficulties and delivered the best performance in history.

Over the past year, there had been many highlights in innovation and transformation. We have strengthened the strategy of innovation-driven development, and formed a sound pattern of development in which old drivers of growth have been continuously replaced by new ones.

Over the past year, we have worked hard to consolidate the foundation. We have steadily promoted streamlined organization, refined management and lean operation, and formed a strong atmosphere in which we emulate, learn from, catch up with, help and in turn surpass each other. The overall quality of the enterprise has been significantly improved, and management innovation has become a trend.

These achievements are not pennies from the heaven, but are created by all the staff of China National Building Material Group with diligence and wisdom. Older leaders such as Song Zhiping and Liu Zhijiang have made great efforts, and all the staff have made contributions quietly. Little by little, they promoted the great achievements of the Group.

The year 2020 is the last year for finishing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects and the last year of the 13th Five-year Plan. It is a crucial year for achieving the first centenary goal and laying a solid foundation for the 14th Five-year Plan and the second centenary goal. Standing at the new historical starting point, we should be confident and keep going. With indomitable courage and responsibility, with hard work and perseverance, we should continue to pursue dreams as the Group changes from big to great, and strive to create a new situation of promising and steady growth of the group.

To pursue the dream ahead, we should focus on the journey. In the coming year, we will seize the day and live up to our youth. We will drive development with innovation, empower development with reform, promote development with internationalization, and lead development with party building. We will continuously enhance our competitiveness, innovation, control, influence and risk resistance, build ourselves into a globally competitive comprehensive investment group in the building material and new material industry, and make greater contributions to securing a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation!
