CNBM Participates in the 7th China International Import Expo

On November 5, the opening ceremony of the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai. Premier Li Qiang of the State Council delivered the keynote speech at the event. As a key member of the central enterprise trade delegation, China National Building Material Group (CNBM) has participated in the CIIE for seven consecutive years. Its overseas subsidiaries, including Germany's Avancis, Singulus, Hazemag, and Italy's Olivotto, showcased cutting-edge achievements in areas such as thin-film solar cells and building-integrated photovoltaics, semiconductors, pharmaceutical glass, and crushing equipment. Meanwhile, CNBM’s domestic enterprises presented over 60 advanced technologies and new materials, including carbon fibers, fiberglass, and optical fiber image transmission materials.

On November 5, Zhou Yuxian was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the 7th China International Import Expo and toured CNBM's exhibition booth. Participating in related activities were Wang Yumeng and Wei Rushan, CNBM Vice Presidents; Peng Shou, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Engineer of CNBM; and Yin Zibo, Chief Operating Officer of CNBM and Chairman of Triumph Group. Executives from CNBM’s overseas subsidiaries also joined the event. Helmut Frankenberger, CEO of Germany’s Avancis; Marcus Heinrich, CEO of Germany’s Hazemag; and Sergio, General Manager of Italy’s Olivotto, provided on-site presentations to leaders and visitors, introducing their companies' development milestones and showcasing their featured exhibits.

CNBM has actively responded to the call for “continued success in the years to come” at CIIE. Committed to its "Overseas Rebuilding" strategy, CNBM places great importance on integrating high-quality global resources and advancing the international presence of Chinese technologies, standards, and equipment. On the morning of November 6, Zhou Yuxian attended the sub-forum “Deepening Cooperation on Industrial and Supply Chains for High-Quality Development of Enterprises” at the 7th Hongqiao International Economic Forum. He also participated in the recording of “Dialogue”, a program aired on CCTV’s Finance Channel. Zhou engaged in in-depth discussions with leaders from China COSCO Shipping, Shandong Heavy Industry Group, Siemens, Airbus China, and other enterprises, as well as Liu Zhongfan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, on ways to strengthen cooperation across industrial and supply chains.
